Cancellation, Returns & Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (LGDCU)

1. Purchases from Private Sellers (Peer-to-Peer / C2C)

When purchasing cards from private non-commercial sellers, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal established for business-to-consumer contracts does not apply by law. However, buyers are fully protected under the EuropeTCG Trustee System.

Inspection window: The buyer has 48 hours upon delivery confirmation to open a formal dispute before funds are released to the private seller.

Eligible refund reasons:

  • The card is proven to be counterfeit/fake.
  • The actual physical condition differs substantially from the listed grade (e.g. listed as Near Mint but received with creases or water damage).
  • Courier tracking confirms the package was lost in transit.

Customs non-refundable clause: Refusal to pay customs duties or import taxes assessed in the destination country does NOT constitute a valid ground for cancellation, dispute, or refund under the Trustee system.

2. Purchases from Professional Stores (B2C) - 14-Day Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you purchase goods from an authorized Professional Store (designated with the "PRO" badge), you have the legal right to cancel and withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason and without incurring penalties.

  • Deadlines: 14 calendar days from the day the package was physically delivered to your address.
  • Return condition: Cards must be returned in the exact condition received, properly secured in sleeves and top-loaders. Sealed products (booster boxes, blister packs) must remain factory sealed.
  • Reimbursement: The Pro store will reimburse all payments received, including initial delivery costs (excluding express delivery supplements), within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. In cross-border orders, non-refundable third-party import duties or customs brokerage fees already paid to tax authorities cannot be reimbursed.
  • Return shipping costs: Direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the consumer unless the Pro store explicitly agreed to bear them.
